This is me (with the hat) and my lovely girlfriend. We have only officially been together for almost 3 months, but we have loved and known each other for almost 7 months. I could not imagine anyone more perfect for me in every way shape and form. She is wonderful and everything I have ever wanted since I was young. I love her. I am in love with her. I’m going to marry this chick one day.

Jay and I met on a role-play forum that she and a few of her friends were administrators on. We can’t figure out which site it was, but it was at least two years ago when we met. I actually got closer with her friend at first, because I had been plotting our characters together, but she was in AIM chats with us from time to time. Basically over the last two years, she and I would chat on AIM and move together from RP site to RP site with various characters. We also tried to make a few sites together as well. We got to be fast friends.
I didn’t know much about her other than she lived in Vegas, she had a great sense of humor, and she was an excellent writer. Eventually, we started chatting on Skype together and added each other on Facebook. This was when I realized she was seven years younger than me and my mind was blown. She and I were on the same page about so much and she was so mature, I was just surprised by it. But it didn’t matter, we were friends and that was that.
We exchanged cell numbers and started texting regularly. In August 2011, I went to a gay bar with my friends, and Jay went to Pride with her friends. We were texting throughout, as usual, and I made out with some random girl and told her about it. She complained that she didn’t get to mack on anyone at Pride, and I replied that I would’ve made out with her. And she was kind of shocked, and it obviously changed directions of our conversations.
After a lot of text flirting and late night phone calls in September and into October, Jay asked me to be her girlfriend on October 12th, 2011. That’s when we started our shared tumblr. We are exactly 2,484 miles apart - I’m in New Jersey and she’s in Nevada. I went to visit her for a week over New Year’s, and am going to visit her again in just 15 days. We’ll be together 8 months on June 12th, but we’ve known each other for 2+ years. I’m one lucky lady, and I plan to be with her for a very long time. She’s funny and smart and accepting and loving and caring and I really couldn’t ask for anything more in a girlfriend. Age difference and distance don’t matter.

This is almost the same thing, except its got much more in depth because today, dearest tumblr readers, is our 6 month. <3 So baby girl, this is for you.

The words ” I love you ” dont even begin to explain how deeply I feel for you. The way I feel for you, is unlike anything I’ve ever felt for someone and thats including my first love.
I mean, just last night when we were on the phone, we were talking about how shitty our past was but we have to be grateful for everyone in that past because they led us to each other. You had your obvious ex fiancee issue which led you to VampireFreaks and I had my ex best friend issue which led me to VampireFreaks. Its funny how back then, love was the last thing on our minds before we met each other. Its also a freaking miracle that to think…we might not have ever met because we were both having suicide thoughts. Its astounding how destiny and fate work in their mysterious ways.
December 2010…thats when it all started. Thats the magical month that would change our lives for good. You know as well as I know that it doesnt feel like half a year. It feels more like the two years that we’ve known each other because you and I ALWAYS have and will share that special connection that can never tear us apart. Once my heart got a glimpse of you, that warm light at the end of the tunnel, it ran full speed ahead and never looked back.
We’ve been through so much that I cant even begin to explain. The drama between our friends, the laughs, the annoyance at each other, the serious conversations about our future, the private jokes that still make us laugh, the silly faces we make at one another while on skype, the lust filled wishes we make at night, the need for the silent but meaningful touches and everything else a long distance relationship needs.
People doubted us. People say ” It’ll never last ” or ” Its not real ” and ” Its fake ” when it comes to our relationship but do you wanna know what the best revenge against them is? Being together and staying together. We dont need to prove to them or anyone else what our relationship is about. All that matters is that you AND I know its real, meaningful and we’re in the deepest love anyone has ever seen. It takes special people to be in a long distance relationship. It takes real commitment, sacrifice, and in a way we top over other relationships because we cant get ‘used’ to be with each other 24/7. We cant take advantage of the fact that we know you’re right around the corner in the next room. When we do see each other, its like the world stops for those seconds of shy contact. I cant wait to kiss those pretty lips of yours, to hold those cute fingers of yours, to run my fingers through your silky hair, and to look deeply into your eyes and tell you I love you.
But you know what I really cant wait for? I cant wait until the day I get to ask you to be mine for the rest of our lives. That day…and every day after that, my life will be complete. 4/23/14. Thats the day when you will forever be attached to me, not that you already arent but you know. :] Hopefully when we’re married, you’ll realize just how sexy and beautiful you are to me without make up and without losing weight. Yes yes yes I know its for health reasons (you annoyed me with that last night xD) but I just want you to know that you are perfect the way you are to me. You’re my curvalicious beauty queen, and you will be treated like the very queen you are every day. Well…okay well heres hoping that my Leo personality wont make a wreck of that. Stupid thing. xD
Holy shit…wow. I’ve been listening to a love song for inspiration to continue writing this, not that I need it, but by the time I realized it…the damn thing was over. Shows how into these things I can really get huh? xD
